1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the services provided by Docere Education LLC, including our website at docere.school, online language courses, educational expeditions, and Money Smart courses, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
2. Services Description
Docere Education provides online language instruction in English, Spanish, and Chinese; educational travel expeditions to destinations including Nepal, Spain, Morocco, and Thailand; and financial literacy courses based on FDIC Money Smart curriculum.
3. Eligibility and Accounts
To use our Services, you must be at least 18 years old to create an account, or have a parent/legal guardian provide consent for students under 18. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
4. Payments and Refunds
All fees are stated in US Dollars unless otherwise noted. Payment is due prior to the commencement of services. Course packages expire 12 months from the date of purchase if unused. Expedition deposits are non-refundable unless the expedition is cancelled by Docere.
5. Intellectual Property
All content on our Website and in our courses is the property of Docere Education or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
6. Code of Conduct
All participants must treat teachers, staff, and fellow students with respect, not engage in harassment or disruptive behavior, and follow all safety guidelines during expeditions.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Docere Education shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our Services.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Mexico, United States.
